For more than 20 years, Andreas Larsson has been travelling the vineyards of the world, talking to winemakers, selecting, blending, tasting, and promoting wine in all its forms. As the Best Sommelier of the World, he is both an international reference for buyers, a conveyor of taste for consumers, and a strategic ally for brands.

His expertise extends beyond tasting: he is involved in product development, range construction, communication, team training, and business development, with an approach that is both technical and human, always connected to market trends and realities.

Combining outstanding tasting skills with a good sense of humour, relaxed manner, and fluency in numerous languages makes him a highly sought-after speaker and consultant in the vast field of gastronomy, wine, and fine beverages.

Originally trained as a chef, he ventured into wine in the late ’90s. He built a staggering career, winning Best Sommelier of Sweden several times, then the Nordics, and finally Europe, before achieving the highly coveted and rare title of Best Sommelier of the World in 2007.

His sommelier career spanned from private wine cellars to wine bars and Michelin-starred restaurants, where he created numerous award-winning wine programs (Wine cellar – PM & Vänner)
